Dealer On Probation Busted With Fentanyl/Heroin Mix In Southern Maryland, Sheriff Says

A drug dealer on probation is facing fresh charges after being busted with a combination of Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) in St. Mary's County.

Daisaun Altay Eric Culpeepper, 31, is back behind bars following a search of a Lexington Park home on Wednesday that led to the recovery of approximately 685 grams of a CDS suspected to be a mixture of fentanyl and heroin, according to the sheriff's office. 

Following an investigation, deputies executed a warrant at a home in the 22000 block of Rue Woods Drive, where they seized tied-off bags containing the suspected fentanyl-heroin mixture, digital scales with CDS residue, over $6,000 in cash, and CDS packaging materials.

Culpepper was charged with: 

  • CDS: possession with intent to distribute narcotics;
  • CDS possession with intent to distribute a dangerous mixture containing heroin and fentanyl;
  • CDS: possession of a large amount;
  • CDS: possession - not cannabis.

He's being held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
